Crossroads Speech and Hearing Inc. (CSHI) is proud to deliver contract
speech therapy, audiology, developmental therapy, physical therapy
and occupational therapy services of the highest quality to:

- Schools- Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Specialized Education Programs- Assisted Living Facilities
- Daycare/Preschool Learning Centers- Out-patient Agencies
- Acute-care and Rehab Hospitals- Home Health Agencies
- Physician Offices- Employment Sites

We work with each client to customize our service delivery arrangement to meet their specific temporary, short-term or long-term coverage needs. Our staff integrates themselves within your program functioning fluidly with your staff. In addition to supplying clinical staff, CSHI provides a designated liaison and/or supervisory support to ensure our services are meeting your needs.

Contract Services: Pediatric and Educational Services

Below is a list, although not exhaustive, of the type of locations that frequently contract clinical services from CSHI for their pediatric clients:

School Based Services
CSHI offers speech therapy and audiology services to:

- Public schools
- Private schools
- Charter schools
- Cyber schools
- Pre-K programs

Our services are available in the summer to include the Extended School Year (ESY). Our flexibility, along with our extensive knowledge of various IEP software products and Access billing, allows us to customize service delivery to meet your clinical, budgetary and program requirements. We are able to supply full or part time staff on a short-term or permanent basis to meet needs such as:

- Program implementation and development
- Maternity leave cover
- Medical leave coverage
- Supplemental support to your clinical staff
- Supervision of your Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Delivery of home-bound or off-site services
- Specialized consultative services for populations such as hearing impaired students, students with augmentative communication, students with swallowing or feeding disorders, etc.

Early Intervention Services (EI)
CSHI has a long association with the delivery of Early Intervention assessment and therapeutic services. Our team of experienced EI professionals includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Developmental Therapists, Physical Therapists and Audiologists work with counties and/or agencies to provide comprehensive services to children and their families.

Daycare/Preschool Learning Centers
Professional staff is available to offer evaluations and therapy on-site at daycare and preschool learning centers for the convenience of your families. We are also able to work with you to complete speech and hearing screenings to identify children who have communication weaknesses or language-based learning difficulties. CSHI staff can provide 1:1 educational programming to your teachers and families and also present group in-services on communication and hearing related topics.

Physician's Offices
CSHI staff is available to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic support services. Our audiologists are skilled in various specialized diagnostic assessments necessary for thorough pediatric evaluation assisting with differential diagnosis of conductive and sensori-neural losses and ongoing monitoring of hearing status. CSHI audiologists also provide hearing loss assessment and customized fitting of a wide-range of hearing aids to meet the personal needs of pediatric clients. They also fashion customized swim-molds in fab colors and designs that encourage children to wear required ear protection while enjoying water activities.


Contract Services: Adult and Medically-based Sites

Below is a list, although not exhaustive, of the type of locations that frequently contract clinical services from CSHI for adult clients or those with medically based needs:

Acute-Care and Rehab Hospitals
CSHI staff is skilled in service delivery with neurogenic-based communication and swallowing disorders. We are able to perform Modified Barium Swallows (MBS studies) and trach management. Our staff is trained in various computer based documentation and billing systems and understands the expectations of service delivery in a hospital setting.

Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
CSHI has an extensive history of providing speech, swallowing, cognitive and hearing/hearing aid services in the SNF setting. We are current on reimbursement and regulatory guidelines. Our staff is skilled in coordinating services with other members of the rehab team and in providing efficient and effective quality care within the parameters of PPS. We are familiar with various computer based documentation and billing systems. We are committed to consulting with nursing staff for implementation of Restorative Nursing Programs. CSHI staff can provide in-services on communication, swallowing and hearing related topics to your staff and families.

Assisted Living Facilities (AFLs)
CSHI can provide communication, cognitive and swallowing therapy, and also, diagnostic hearing and hearing aid management services to residents of Assisted Living Facilities and Personal Care Homes. For the convenience of your residents, we can provide services on-site with the AFL billing or, if you desire, we can assume direct billing of services. Our staff has specialized training in the management of the special needs of residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. We provide functional programming to the resident, family and staff with visual aids and strategies that allow the resident to be as independent as possible. Our staff is also available to provide in-services on communication, swallowing and hearing related topics to your residents, families and staff.

Home Care
CSHI staff are available to provide home-based service. Our staff is educated in the necessary multi-disciplinary communication and coordination associated with rehab service delivery in the home along with the documentation requirements. CSHI is able to provide continuity of care and assist in the transition of continued independent skill development that is needed in the home and community.

Physician's Offices
CSHI staff is available to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic support services. Our audiologists are skilled in various diagnostic assessments including VNGs. They also provide hearing loss assessment and customized fitting of a wide-range of hearing aids at various cost-levels to meet the personal needs of your patients. Our audiologists are available to provide pre-operative counseling and intra-operative monitoring.

Employment Sites
In addition to offering speech-pathology and audiology services at our three clinics (McMurray-Brentwood-Wexford), CSHI Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists offer diagnostic and clinical services at your work-site for the convenience of you and your employees. Our Speech-Language Pathologists are trained in programs that target accent-reduction in speakers of English as a second language. Also, they provide counseling and education to sales staff, managers and executives for improved public speaking and phone presentation.

OSHA required hearing testing can be completed by our OSHA certified Audiologists. Our staff can complete baseline assessments and provide ongoing monitoring of employees hearing status. In addition, our Audiologists can provide employee education regarding the use of hearing protection.
